I wonder if Kara should have promoted Girl's Power instead of Speed Up :/ Personally, Speed Up live isn't as powerful or catchy as their other singles. I know things are different considering the holiday and stuff, so are their sales actually considered good or is it low?

OMG. Mr. will forever be Kara's best single in Japan with their famous butt dance, but it seems like for every song, there HAS to be a specific part in their dance that they teach XD Regardless of what it is, it's so amusing how they always get everyone to dance to their songs! I died when the hosts were learning the dance and the main host was so into it LOLOLOL <3 <3 <3 TY for sharing~

^You're right. I was thinking of the MB special in Japan that was held in 110722, but they didn't perform Step. There's been quite a few music programs that have done special episode in Tokyo all around last year. All I know they performed Step in some program XD

^Kara's releases have always been when there's tough competition, and this is probably one of their biggest yet. I really hope it does push up their sales. Not to mention they performed K-step in Music Bank (or inkigayo?) in Japan to a very large audience. Hopefully the release of J-step might help.

If Kara surpassed KMF2, who-knows-what would break loose. Johnny fans, the general public, media... if Kara beat them, it would open a bottle of both good and crazy stuff. I want them to be #1, but that'd be like "Woah". Do you think the "scandal" with Kara's north-Korean manager would affect their image?

*bows to UMJ/DSP* FINALLY a decent/high quality mv release! Songs are easy to listen to on my leisure time or anytime. Kara's songs are always on the edge of being both Kpop and Jpop at the same time. It satisfies my Kpop/Jpop love at the same time XD So happy they a fierce Kara release but released a lighter song for those who enjoy Kara's cuter/lighter songs. You please all fans in one release *Bows to whoever brought up this idea/involved* And Girl Power MV was <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 The lighting is GORGEOUS! Only complaint is Speed It Up. Like it, but doesn't seem to fit Kara completely. Their voices isn't powerful enough, so it fell a wee bit flat. Lupin/Jumping had that sound that fit Kara. Speed kinda felt too Western for Kara... which sadly, doesn't fit their current style and voice.

Avex are good with artists... Idol groups? *cough*TGS*cough* Not so much. Hopefully with recent awards, UMJ will pick up on the quality and promos >_______> Anywayssssssss. I can't wait for the release! Kara in Japan has been so quiet recently TT__TT

YAY!! Not only did they increase in sales by getting 5219, they are at #2. Looking at the covers, such a pity a flawless album didn't have a better cover >.> Now that Kara have passed the 500K mark, UMJ: Please put more money into their promotion and releases. Thank you.

After looking at the pattern, sales seems to be going down 1,000 each day. Unless there's some type of boost, whether we get to 600,000 by week 8 is making me nervous. 500,000 is already a great feat and it's still hard to believe that Kara sold that much. But 600,000 is soooooo close!

I don't like the over use of remakes, but it would have been nice to have J-Step on the Super Girls album the same way a Japanese version of Lupin was released. Other groups often have their Korean songs as the main promoted title track in Japan and most don't translate well. Since an old song is quickly being reused to promote when it doesn't even sound well in Japanese rather then making a new song that fits the Japanese style and language, that's one of the reasons why it gives off so much negativity. But Step wasn't going to be promoted anyways and was like a bonus filler track. Since they weren't going to promote it, it wouldn't leave much of an impact on the general audience. For those who weren't interested, it's just another filler track and they wouldn't even notice or say "Didn't they release this in Korea? Why are they promoting it here?". Super Girls already had enough fresh new tracks to prove it wasn't a Korean-to-Japanese rehashed album. IMO, if they were going to put Step on the album anyways, they should have released it in Japanese then to have a Korean track on a Japanese album. Since Japanese fans have expressed interest in Step and even bought the album, it was somewhat of a disappointment for Step to be released in Japan in Korean. And since it was already released on the album, it's way too late to have it re-released in Japanese. Boo.

^I think not just simply speaking the language, idols are all about personality as well. And being able to joke and understand (most) jokes really lightens up everything~ Even though they haven't been on Shabekuri for a while, it was nice to see them with some of the cast from Shabekuri again~

OMG 1:13 (first clip!) Anyone think of Gekidan Hitori? The Kara shirts and fanboys made me totally LOL. I envy them To see Kara AND have Kara shirts TT___TT It's probably also a treat for fans to see Step~ As much as I complain about K-idols always remaking their K-songs into Japanese instead of original work, Step NEEDS to be released in Japanese! Seeing the audience reaction just made me want to see a J-Step more. I was like the guy @ 3:18 in red through out the whole perf XD
