  1. i agree. i think it is greedily smart though *wink* but because of that someone is stuck in between...
  2. like i said in the news thread, the japanese company is really not quite at fault about the issue. DSP could have negotiated it for the sake of kara and the company but did not and agreed with the contract. and in that article you posted it looks like they're telling the members who left that they actually have a bigger share of the profit to make people believe that DSP is the victim. we really can't take anybody's side now because both parties showing their points. all we have to do is wait what will happen in the coming days and hope for the better.
  3. that public is really ignorant then. kara have a right to fight for their fair share of the pie. if anyone is being greedy that would be dsp and that "public" for not hearing the girls' (especailly nicole a.k.a the non-korean born one)side of the story.
  4. japanese company doesn't pay kara. DSP does. if the thing about 85/15 is true, DSP should have negotiated the profit division in the first place before they signed the deal. you can call it very witty because the japanese company might offered something to kara and dsp in exchange for an unfair contract (e.g free food, house, massive media exposure for kara, new sound sytem for dsp etc.). note that this deal is only for the cd profits and looking at the whole music industry now, artists really don't make much from cd sales. their other activities is paid fairly based on the articles.
  5. it is not the fault of the japanese distributor (Universal Music Sigma Japan)because DSP agreed with it. SNSD is under Nayutawave Records, although a subsidary of Universal Music Japan, their operations are different.
  6. whatever happens i just hope there will a unanimous decision between the "members" and not by the parents. if the majority wants to leave DSP then all 5 five should leave together vice versa. i don't know if one of their dreams is to be together until the end but nothing comes out good if a group is split apart. if they leave DSP they should know that they can't be KARA anymore because DSP bought the name but they can form a new group with a new name.
  7. i just want to say that i hope UMJ and DSP agrees to promote binks in this album , instead of jumping or the other tracks. the beats and the melodies are so easy to listen to, a typical idolpop song suited in japan. i hope they would add some more instruments to this song though...a second guitar and more brass instruments perhaps? make it more livelier or something like that...anyway just saying
  8. that is good. i hope it would not affect her skeds with kara. i suddenly have this feeling that they might go into a hiatus or disband...but hey we never know although honestly they can stand tall into the entertainment industry by themselves already
  9. you are wrong. japanese idols and artists who are currently in the spotlight release things THIS fast for more publicity. taking a break for more than three months when you're the talk of the town means that you are giving another act the opportunity to beat you unless there is no competition.
  10. i knew gyuri's hair was dyed blonde for a reason lol love the covers but i wish there were five versions so that hara and nicole can have the center spotlight too.
  11. can't wait for this! i wonder what will be their new concept will be
  12. i think DSP is looking at things a bit too far this time but setting a goal is good. i will be very happy if they did reach those numbers but not in the first week but maybe a few weeks after the release can't wait what this single will sound like
  13. haha this is totally expected after their successful debut. congrats KARA!
  14. thank god i have a softbank user agent installed on my smartphone i can look up news anywhere i go i HOPE it would not become a charged mobile site though...the "fanclub" seems an expensive word in japan...
  15. i wish the source would tell which girl answered the questions haha...the answers are too professional they've really matured a lot. wish seungyeon was there NHK kokuhaku is a BIG thing in japan where all the popular artists gather every new years day...it will be a hard to appear there but i'm excited to see them perform there
