    I only know Kpop because of KARA, so thank you for introducing me to Kpop and for always forever being my favourite girl group :) We, KARA & Kamilia, have weathered some tough times regardless of when you became a fan, be it during the first member change/contract dispute/2nd member change, KARA has never had it easy. These girls have my utmost respect for the way they have always persevered no matter what happened. Today is not about ending, its about new beginnings. KARA will always be a part of Gyuri, Seungyeon & Hara (just as its part of Nicole,Jiyoung, Sunghee & Youngji) no matter what they go onto to. It's time for us Kamilias to support these girls in their careers :)

     

    I am happy with their decision because I want them to tap their full potential and hope that with guidance & attention of their new agencies they will flourish. No sure if its ever possible, but I would love for them to be able to work together as a group or a collaboration :) Thank you KARA for all you have done!! I am & will always be a Kamilia <3 :)

     

    Also, thank you KARAholic, staff, translators & everyone who has contributed with news & updates!!! As an English speaking Kamilia, I really appreciate all that you've done to help other Kamilias!!

    @ BabyGirl,  I hope you've seen this link?   https://youtu.be/17_U_M3uvj0   Else, I checked through several bookstores near me and they said that her book is a special order and that it will cost extra for the special order as an international book purchase.

     

    Thank you for including the video! It was very informative :)  It seems that the book will be in Korean, which is a shame because it would be difficult to understand if not in English for me :(   Great opportunity for Hara, hope it does well!

    Does anyone have any info about Hara's new nail book?

     

    I know she collaborates with a well known nail designer, and the site is in English.  I was just wondering if the book is in English too? Or is there an English version?

    What is more mature than an ending? We've heard nothing about new contracts for KARA. Could we be seeing the end of KARA(4old+5+4new)? We've heard nothing about April. Could it be that April = KARAnewbeginning? There would be 7 months of transition, with a crowning of a new leader in December or January.  

    Very unlikely ... most likely new haircuts.

     

    Aren't their contracts good until the end of this year?? I thought that Seungyeon, Gyuri & Hara renewed at the end of 2013 for 2 years.

    Well, korean kamilia acted... in a dissapointing way, when the KARA Project was announced, DSP wasn't going to push it into them. Also, when it comes to KARA (and strategy and planning), Universal Japan > DSP, so...   

    And Gyul, Seungyeon and Hara's contracts time is running out, I'm glad the project was just a month to keep KARA going for the rest of the year!   (BTW, 'Kara new member' is still trending on Naver, and it was reported in Japan's morning news/newspapers/online reports, so while the show might have had less attention at first, Youngji being the winner --and a charming beauty-- got quite a lot of expossure) 

     

    When exactly does their contract end?  I thought they signed for 2 years last fall, so that would make it upto fall 2015 if I'm right.    

    Also, KARAHOLIC is a community for Kamilias.  It's a place where we should be able to freely and respectively be able to voice our opinions among ourselves.  It may not be the popular opinion but it is what a person will chooses to feel. We all have that right and I think we should all respect that right.  

    People are so caught up in trying to convince others in why the way they think is right that it becomes intimidating to post on here.  That is not what this forum is about.  

    In the end we all come together to support KARA and that is all that matters.  

    So please be patient with all during this member transition.  There are some who are so excited to have Youngi into the KARA family but are not realizing that there are some who are having a hard time during this member transition after losing 2 beloved members.  

    It will all come together, it just needs time.  Even if our views are different, our belief is the same.  

    The belief in KARA :)

    Did you notice that YoungJi wore the lower arm netting, reminscent of a ninja or of Japanese origin.

    She first wore it at Everland and while performing STEP, it came loose and it disturbed the other members in the performance.

    Like a professional, she continued dancing. I thought DSP would have discontinued that fashion piece. But then in KARA showcase, she wore it again.

    And now in the 6th episode, she wore a red one.

    I believe DSP wanted her for the Japan market, seeing she got the most votes there and Japan is DSP's biggest customer.

    The Global Votes is an indicator. At the end of the day, popularity sells the merchandise and not expert opinion.

    I think KARA also voted for her because she looks like JiYoung and she has a follower mentality and a maknae in their midst and not a leader like SoJin. The latter may have her own ideas about certain issues. In all fairness to YoungJi, she worked very hard and we did not get to see her final performance. Perhaps it was the deal clincher.

    SoMin unfortunately looked like Goo Hara. The other KARA members may be thinking of HARA's unease at being compared constantly with SoMin.

    I'm sad that SoJin or SoMin did not make it as the 2nd member. What is DSP thinking?

    I am also quite surprised that they picked only 1 member :(  I figured from the voting that Youngji would win but I also was hoping for Sojin.  

     

    Also, just want to thank all members who were on here with me when we were watching the live finale and helping out with getting the link and updating with tweets/pics :) Thanks so much fellow Kamilias!!!

    So the argument that they needed to have 5 members instead of three, so they didn't have to redo all their songs was false .  

    Unless they later say that they chose another one. Crazy

     

    Thank you for pointing this out! It shows that it was possible for them to just be them.

     

    I'll support KARA regardless but I knew that it was always possible since baby KARA was able to change the dance to 7 people so why not 3? Oh well, wishing the best for KARA!!
