  1. I noticed her tweet as well. Your translation seems correct. I originally thought it meant something else, but it seems I made a mistake. I thought 込めて referred to the verb 込む (to be crowded or packed) instead of the verb 込める (to include or to put into), which led me to interpret 送りたい as "want to say farewell" instead of "want to send out". All this made me think her tweet said something like "My heart is heavy. Right now, I want to say farewell...". Thanks for sharing!
  2. <--my face when I read the news. ...things had cooled off quite a bit in the last weeks, but it looks like a new chapter is starting. *sigh* The filing of an official lawsuit is very worrying.
  3. *sigh* The controversy had cooled off quite a bit, and I was even feeling a little bit optimistic about the whole situation, but it seems things continue to deteriorate... ...we'll just have to wait and see what happens, but the filing of an official lawsuit is very worrying.
  4. You, my friend, win. Thank you for this.
  5. You're welcome. I hope things continue moving positively. The five of them resuming activities together, is a very good first step; but it's still just a first step. We'll continue hoping for the best.
  6. As I mentioned over at the Discussionbox, this is why I say we should stay positive, yes, but to wait a little longer before we start celebrating: Link: KARA

  8. It's not my intention to be pessimistic; my intention is to be realistic: It's good that the girls will be continuing their current schedule, but such a decision shows no real progress in the negotiations. It's definitely a sign of hope, but I think it's way too early to be celebrating anything. We should wait to celebrate when future activities have been announced.
  9. Exactly. A lot of people are celebrating over the announcement that they'll finish up their current schedule. That's neither bad nor good news; if anything, it's a sign that no real progress has been made. I think we should hold our celebrating until future activities have been announced.
  10. Fighting! We're all still hoping for the best! I too also believe that the girls' involvement has not been proven. I strongly feel that DSP made some mistakes and that the parents are using those mistakes as an excuse for trying to escape DSP and jump to another higher-paying company. And I also feel that Landmark's stupidity in this fiasco is beyond imagination: all they wanted was to have a high-profile (high-paying) case against a rich company, and turned a simple conflict into an rampaging controversy by convincing the parents that they could indeed get their girls into a higher-paying company. I'm not saying I'm 100% sure the girls are innocent; I'm just saying I'm 100% sure there's still no proof that the girls are not innocent. Kara Fighting! Kamilia Fighting! Kara5ever!
  11. That's the same news all of us want to hear. By analyzing the news that we get to the best of our abilities, we try to get a feeling for how likely it is we hear those news. That's the only reason why we speculate about what's going on: because we want to hear the news that they will be staying together. The best way to support them is by being fair in our analysis of the situation. That implies analyzing what news we get, even if those news are about Landmark, DSP, and the parents. We can't know how to support them unless we understand their situation, so we have to analyze and even speculate a bit in order to know how to help them out.
  12. I wouldn't read too much into this. DSP is probably just trying to continue their Japanese schedule as normally as they can; much like URAKARA has continued airing, despite the conflict.
  13. Landmark is attacking DSP's reputation and claiming that all this situation is born of DSP's incompetence. By releasing the text messages, DSP is trying to prove that the actions of the Landmark side are not motivated by DSP's incompetence, but by some parents trying to make more money. I'm not standing on DSP's side (we still don't even know if those texts played any part in the decision to sue DSP); I'm just saying that DSP didn't do this "to prove a point". They did this to defend themselves against the claims by Landmark, by trying to establish that said claims are baseless and that the Landmark side's motivations lie elsewhere. No one here is trying to be pessimistic or going against Kara. We're just trying to be fair in our assessment of the situation; and being fair means considering all the different angles to a conflict based on the information that we get.
  14. It's definitely a difficult time right now... Lots of confusion floating around. We still don't know about whether or not those messages from "J" actually played a role in the decision to go against DSP, but it sure doesn't make the Landmark side look good... And we still have not heard much from the girls themselves... All we hear is what Landmark says they want... Kara5ever!
