KARA's Nicole takes on a role as a hotel doorman
KARA's Nicole takes on a role as a hotel doorman in SBS heroes. She had to use her laughter to cover her weird intepretations and inaccurate prounciations!
On the episode that was aired on 6th of february, various females heroines in the show were to act out a role in the korean show <<Hotelier>> , to be a hotel doorman in a real life situation.
During practice, Lee Hwi Jae asked Nicole whether she knows what's the meaning of "Check in", Nicole replied inconfidently: " It means to step inside the room to ask something". (*Note: Nicole is not strong in Hangul. Hence, she tends to misunderstand/not understand the meaning of some korean words. In this case, She is not sure what "check in" means in korean. Thus, she randomly guessed the meaning of it, for which her answer makes everyone laugh!
) Nicole was then being pointed out for her inaccurate pronounciations. To make it worst, she tumbled over Lee Hwi Jae(who act as a patron of the hotel)'s luggage, revealing various taboo actions for those who worked as a hotel doorman. When Nicole asked Lee Hwi Jae if he needs any help,Lee Hwi Jae replied :"You better go and find another job.", letting Nicole laugh in embarrassment/Shyness. Source: KARAFAMILY,TV daily

SBS New Year special show; Who is the king of idols
2PM、SHINee、Super Junior、Big Bang、KARA、After School、f(x) as well as various Korean top idols(various members of different idol groups) will be participating in SBS's new year special show: "King of idols" that was being held in Pattaya, Thailand.
"King of idols" is a top variety show that will reveal who is the top idol via different activities . In this show, different styles of wearing of different artistes will be shown.
After School's UEE, who is an active swimmer since high school, will be revealing her professionalism as a swimmer. Her diving skills as well as "mermaid-like moves" won everyone's praises .
In this show, viewers can also see how idols dresses when they were at the airport, idols without make-up, idols revealing private talks, fierce dance battle, competitions and as well as awkward instances when idols first met will all be unveiled. This show will be aired on the 2nd feb at 6pm KST.

Despite contract conflict with DSP, KARA endorses for Japanese commercial Body
According to CRI online, Korean Female group KARA endorses for a new japanese commercial so to ease the stress for the reduction of events in Korea.
This month on the 26, many medias including Japan's <<Sankei Sports>> have reported that recently TBC, one of japanese biggest commercial body, has chosen KARA as their models for their latest commercial. According to <<Sankei Sports>>, this Commerical has been filmed before KARA's conflict with DSP. Due to this current dispute,it has causes some disruption in the release of this CF. However, they mentioned that this is the most difficult and crucial phase for all KARA members and they ought to help them a little.
This Commercial is going to be made into huge Outdoor advertising board and they will be placed at 7 main cities of Japan. TBC have specially printed "KARA Fighting/Gambatte!" on the board so to support our girls.

KARA's URAKARA received high ratings despite being aired at midnight
KARA's Japanese drama URAKARA will be broadcasted in Korea's TV channel after being aired in Japan for 2 weeks.
It has been recently announced that Cable channel TvN will be showing KARA's URAKARA on the 28th January, 8:30 pm. "URAKARA" is a 12-episode drama revolving around KARA being transformed into love agents, getting involved in dating missions to win the hearts of the other parties. Inorder to succeed in their mission, KARA tries hard to learn what is the true meaning of love in a reality situations and thereby learning truly how to be a topstar. One moment, KARA is all innocent and happy, then suddenly in another moment, they teared because of the pain of love. In this drama, KARA members' portrayal of different characteristics, displaying different experiences of love and their mature and witty dialogues are the biggest selling points of the drama.
The first episode was broadcasted on the 14th of January at midnight. Despite the late broadcasting slot, it receives a high rating of 4% and thereby showing us once again KARA's popularity in Japan. According to Japan Tv officials, getting even a 2% rating at this time slot is already an achievement itself. As compared to last year, Japan's own idols NEWS's as well as AKB48's dramas, KARA received twice as high the rating. After showing the first episode, the commonly seen comments on Japan's net is : "No matter in what case, "URAKARA" is quite unique because what is most important is not the plot but it is rather to see KARA's portrayal of their given characters in the drama. We got addicted because of that." This drama have gotten a lot of good feedbacks.
