Two days and my threads are pushed to the second page by what I can only describe as a thread bumping spree. Given that this was exactly what I did when I joined, I can't say anything against those responsible, but I do find it a bit sad that despite this being a KARA forum I appear to remain the only one here excited about these glimpses into a rediscovered portion of our fandom. Surely there must exist more interested parties here? An FM 인기가요 session from February 2008... though the text suggests that they aired this on television at one point. Part of a longer program, perhaps?

Before Sunghee left, the group hinted at the release of a second album on several occasions - it was even mentioned in the last episode of their Self-Cam series. Obviously DSP wasn't able to release the album with KARA5, but there must have been some hearsay on the album going around prior to February 29 - rumors on the concept, the style, anything. I'd like to ask some older Kamilias here whether they had in fact heard any information on this planned second release. I'm not expecting anything as polished as, say, SNSD's unreleased song "Boomerang", but whatever it may be will probably come to me as a pleasant surprise. Let the digging begin...

Compare Nicole's voice in, say, "눈물 지우개" to her voice in "나는..(Ing)". What happened? It's as if somewhere in the process of adjusting to new members Nicole was told to 'squeak' out all of her higher notes. Granted, 규리's and 승연's voices changed as well, but the case with Nicole is far more conspicuous. I won't tread on the appeal that the latter seem to have to many of the people here, but I would like to hear all of your thoughts on how this may have come about.

I recently came across an in which the girls were discussing their tendency to sing mostly live stages. Evidently they stressed the quality of their lives in their debut days since people expected them to do poorly and they wanted to stand out from other groups who only danced without singing. Overall, how do you think this affected their success, and do you think they lived up to their goal? Just wanted to hear everyone's thoughts on this.

I see that death glare has been around for some time. With predebut pics of SNSD you've got people screaming about plastic surgery... if there's any of that for Seungyeon then I'm very much hoping there will emerge some sort of conclusive proof, one way or the other.

Being ignorant of K-pop at the time, when I first saw her on Star King I actually thought Kara was her name rather than the group's name... quite embarrassing, to say the least. On the other hand, she was very cute...
