    KARA In Talks To Reunite For 15th Anniversary Project

    KARA may be reuniting for a special project to celebrate their 15th anniversary!

    According to multiple industry representatives on June 14, the KARA members gathered together on June 13 to discuss various possibilities including the release of a digital single and various activities. DSP Media will reportedly cooperate with their holding company RBW for the project.

    One industry representative shared, “I heard that they met frequently for discussion. This time, the members once again discussed amongst themselves.” Another representative remarked, “Since all the members’ agencies are different and each agency cannot have the same needs, they are in a situation in which specific discussions need to be made. The members have great affection for KARA, and they really appear to want to do a one-time event to celebrate the meaningful year [marking their] 15th anniversary.”

    In response to the report, a representative of DSP Media shared, “KARA’s [potential] activities are currently under discussion. Nothing has been confirmed.”

    KARA made their debut in 2007 and released numerous hit songs including “Honey,” “Pretty Girl,” “Mister,” “Jumping,” “Lupin,” and more. Recently, Park Gyuri, Han Seung Yeon, Nicole, Kang Ji Young, and Heo Young Ji all united to celebrate the group’s 15th anniversary, and the members took to Instagram to share adorable group photos and thank their fan

    Karaholic is now updated with a new forum version and it is loaded with new awesome features.

    We will provide you a simple sneak peak on the new features below so that you can experience them along with us :)

     

    1. User Profile

    You can upload a cover photo onto your profile. Just click on the 'Cover Photo' button at the top right corner and upload any pictures of your liking.

    Switch between user profile and forum activity with just one click on the 'See my activity' button.

    2. New Content

    Keep up with the latest updates by clicking on 'Unread Content'. You can filter out what contents that you would like to see by using the advanced filtering options provided on top.

    3. Mentions

    Now you can notify other members by typing their name to mention them. Remember to use the '@' symbol before typing the name.

    4. Automatic Embedding

    Now the forum supports automatic embedding. You can just copy and paste links from YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Vine, and Instagram without any special coding or tags.

    Want to send a letter to SeungYeon ? Your chance is here !

     

    We have a kamilia who is willing to help you do so at hammie's upcoming fan meet event.

     

    Just email your letters to: karafull_world@yahoo.com (you can address the kamilia as Mai)

     

    She will print it out and hand them to hammie during the event. Send in your letters by 14th July 2016.

  24. Official SeungYeon fanclub project with Sweetune

    Hi guys and girls, 

     

    @official_sy on twitter is having a collaboration fan project with Sweetune. 

     

    In this project, fans are required to write a piece of story about their memories with Seung Yeon throughout their experience as a Kamilia or a pure SY-stan. Fan-taken photos can also be included in your story (Example: selfie with SeungYeon in person etc). It it not compulsory that yourself must be included in the photo. The piece of story should not be too long. A brief one is preferred.

     

    How to apply

    Please apply accordingly by email to official_sy@daum.net

    Project period: April 16 2016 - April 22 2016, 6 PM KST

     

    Using the following title for your email '[Project Participation] Name' , Example: '[Project Participation] Yongery'

    Submission can be in both Korean or in English. One person can only submit one piece of story.

     

    We appreciate it if you can spread the words around too :)

     

    Any questions, we will answer them the best we can.
