Hobbies: does waiting for Kara updates count??? XD seriously though, if I'm not spazzing about how awesome Kara is (w/c is most of the time), I am

- keeping up with sports updates (basketball, volleyball, football, pool, etc)

- keeping up with the latest & watching re-runs of animes

- trying to make sense of my life

- just trying to breath

Interest: anything & everything Kara

I got into K-Pop because of an idol group of DSPFamily & Kara's sunbae (SS501 to be exact)..

t'was in 2008 (in my first job with a firm) when I chanced upon a video shared by someone in the company's public folders while looking for the latest Heroes episode.. I instantly got hooked! I later found out that the folder belonged to a group mate & a very good friend I met on my 1st day/orientation for that firm...

I already knew about Kara back then and almost all active groups that time.. (well it's not difficult since there are fewer groups during those early days) but being a purist fan that time, I do not support having multi-fandoms.. which I really regret to this day.. (what was I thinking?!!)

second fandom was Kiss Me (because of Hyungjoon-Kibum) connection obviously.. after that I became more open about multi-fandoms..

as a Triple S/Kiss Me, I watched all their variety shows I could find.. which was lucky for me I guess bcoz I got to know Gyuri & eventually Kara after watching one of those variety shows.

It was love at first for me towards Gyuri (2009)..

I love everything about her.. Her confidence, her attitude, her humor, her looks (of course) & everything in between.. I can't seem to get enough & so I started searching all her videos with Kara.. I already knew that time that she's the leader..

The more I watched Kara stuff, the more I got to know more about them and love all the members.. Gyuri aside, all the members took turns in being at the top of my bias list..

Sunghee (as everyone would agree) has always amazed me with her vocal prowess.. Her voice is just sooo unique, clear and powerful, yet soothing.. I also love her playful side.

I love Cole for being athletic, cheerful, thoughtful, 4D & a dork.. I love her particularly in Star Golden Bell, Family Outing & Kara Bakery (yes!! even if her airtime was VERRYY short)..

I adore Jing for being the 'evil maknae' that she was.. lol I love how she's funny, easy-going & adorable.. particularly in Kara's idol Army & SuKiRa with Gyul..

no one can deny Hara is pretty/beautiful.. that's a given.. but what I loved about her is her determination, hard work, athleticism, kindness, etc. plus she's adorable! esp in Invincible Youth..

Hammie got me with everything that she is.. for being too adorable it should be illegal! for her passion and protecting Kara as a name & as a group.. for her hard work, for her faith that Kara will get there..

Honestly, I had reservations about YJ initially & I'm not ashamed to admit that.. but I gave her the benefit of the doubt & hoped that it'll work for the new Kara.. & I've never been happy to be proven wrong by YJ.. she erased all lingering doubts I had about her & totally captured my heart with her innocence, cuteness, cheerful disposition & for being pure yet determined & hard-working..

I know my list about each member is pretty much lacking in all departments.. that's on purpose coz if not, i won't be able to finish..

I can say that from the moment I got curious about Kara, there was no turning back..

how many times have I wanted out of K-Pop in general & for good?.. but each & every time, I always find my way back because of Kara.. heck I even came to a point I questioned why I'm still living.. but Kara has been the invisible thread linking me back to this world & reality.. (not exaggerating)

I may not be able to show my appreciation for them in person but I hope that by being a supporter, I can give back what I am always receiving.. the 'hope' that after everything that's happened & when the dust has finally settled, EVERYTHING WILL BE ALRIGHT...
