So five tracks and then the instrumental of the title track. Kind of curious if she'll promote any of the other songs, namely "Love" since it's the only other song without a guest on it.

Image source = Jiyoung's Instagram Former KARA member Jiyoung posted about the release of her photo collection. On the 13th, Jiyoung's first photo collection "Jiyoung Monogatari ~Umaretate no Watashi~*" was released. The same day, Jiyoung posted to her Instagram, "More and more appearances. After this, I'll be signing here," expressing joy from her photo collection going on sale. The picture included shows Jiyoung in front of her photo collection with a happy smile visible. The cover of the photo collection which adorns her dignified figure invites one's glance. In April this year, Jiyoung withdrew from KARA and spent a short time in England studying abroad. Later on, she signed a contract with the Japanese agency Sweet Power, and is unrolling her vigorous activities in Japan. I'm younger by two years roughly. She's the same age as my older brother though, with a very small difference even between birth dates.
-
If it's like past concerts, it probably won't be released (physically) until February or March. I imagine the TV broadcast would be around that time though, but like viperion noted, there's no air date listed yet. Also I think WOWOW needs to double check their info, the Japanese "Mamma Mia!" single was released in August lol...
-
Eight, it's just noting that there's specifically two pictures of each member in the set.
-
Yeah I noticed that, but it was unsourced when I saw it so I took it with a grain of salt, given anyone can edit there, etc. Everything I can find are moreso just insiders saying she's signed, but the label themselves have noted that they're still talking about actually signing the contract (but with said contract signing being like... 99% likely at this point lol). That said, I do hope the whole "second Hyori expectation" thing is not legit, as Nicole seems much better off being an R&B/rap artist than a generic K-pop/trot singer...

Inside reports are saying that Nicole, former member of girl group KARA, will be joining the agency Lee Hyori is signed to, B2M Entertainment, for her solo debut next month; the agency underlined that they have "not come to a decision yet." On the 25th, B2M Entertainment representative Gil Jonghwa said in response to Olsen, "Regarding an exclusive contract with Nicole, we're still in the process of coordinating it. We feel it's too early to talk about the time of her debut until the contract is signed." If the contract is signed soon, a comeback next month will be possible. Gil noted, "Work on her music is in progress." B2M Entertainment presently has Lee Hyori and SPICA affiliated with them. Gil attentively watched former DSP Media member Nicole even before her debut. This January, after her contract expired with KARA's agency DSP Media and a contract renewal failed, Nicole withdrew from KARA to prepare for solo activities. [2014] KARA THE 3rd JAPAN TOUR 2014 "KARASIA"
dubious replied to edr49890's topic in Discussionbox Archive
They used that name for the Korean concert they did and apparently were supposed to tour other parts of Asia as well. At this point it's probably just to indicate the concert series in question has been outside of Japan.- 138 replies

That's what their translated Korean names are, yeah.

It's just a re-release of the Korean EP with a bilingual booklet and bonus photos... (._.;;;; ) And a higher price tag because CDs in Japan are more expensive than Korean ones (even though the disc is Korean made but meh). I recall a news article was posted for it and at least a couple of people have mentioned the re-release in the original thread for the initial Korean release.

"To Kamilia of Japan, hello. It's Youngji. Thank you to those who celebrated my birthday. I was really happy. I'll keep doing my best, so please keep supporting me. I hope to meet you at Karasia!" I'm pretty sure is this is a reply to the birthday message thing that was done via the Japanese KARA fanclub. edit And then I was so tired my English skills started to drift away

So, uh... if we have like one of the things in the third round prize, are we still fine to try for it? Because getting a copy of Day & Night would be nice, but I have a copy the type C version of "Mamma Mia!" already ordered and on its way D:
-
Yeah, the word used in the Japanese article is "zenkoku," which means "nationwide". The typo is only in the thread title though, probably was just typing too quick or something. At least there's a secondary option for Japanese fans who can't get concert tickets though to see the concert and get some goodies.

Album [2014.08.27] KARA Japanese Single Album "Mamma Mia"
dubious replied to eliza.hara구1's topic in 2014
For those who've ordered this single already: do any of them have anything outside of what's specified (the single CD + the DVD, photobook or bonus track) and the application number? I'm probably going to order the single anyway so I can have a proper digital copy myself (having an iTunes copy is cool and all but lossless is better), but just figured to ask if there's photocards or anything extra or if it's pretty much "what you see is what you get". edit 17$ well spent o/ -
The "POCS" numbers are reserved literally for re-releases and for sublabels like D-topia/stuff that Universal Japan distributes (but doesn't necessarily own the full rights to), meaning this copy of Day & Night is a literal re-release of the Korean version with no changes to the songs themselves. The only "new" things this version offers is the 8 photos that come with it and the fact that all the Korean song lyrics are accompanied by Japanese translations in the booklet. If they redid all the songs in Japanese and released it that way, it would end up with "UMCK" as the start of the catalog number instead. Which really, I don't understand because Korean imports seem to be easy to get in Japan, so re-releasing something with no major changes seems silly. I could see if they did something akin to the type C of the "Mamma Mia!" single where there's a new track or two, but there's not, making it seem likely that your first idea (wanting to cash in further) is why they're redistributing the album specifically in Japan.

Gyuri: "Whatchoo hiding in there, girl?" There was another caption that came to mind, but I'd rather stick with one that's actually SFW.

FAQ [2014.08.28] For Member Only★ Youngji Birthday Event
dubious replied to viperion's topic in Newsbox Archive
Basically fanclub members can write a 5-7-5 (haiku) message to Youngji for her birthday, and they'll be picking two of said entries to receive autographed gifts (doesn't specify what exactly) from her. They'll be taking entries until August 31st 11:59PM JST, and said haikus can be written in Korean or Japanese text, but as I'm understanding the line, it notes they won't translate messages to her from either language (not particularly prohibiting online translation programs), though using online translators for Japanese and Korean are pretty useless anyway and would probably get the wrong message across. ・メッセージは日本語でも韓国語でも構いませんが、事務局では翻訳はいたしませんので予めご了承下さい。 is the point in question from the site post.
