  1. Seriously, why are their Japanese album covers so cheesy. You would think they would have elevated the production value that goes in to the photoshoot for an album cover by now, just look at Step! But yes, Cover C is the best out of all three. My eyes just draws to GyuRi, top model pose right there. Once again I am disappointed in the number of new tracks that are included in this album, it seems more and more evident that this album was rushed, as if UMJ wants to throw something together before the year's end and milk as much as they can out of the girls before their contract is up. Be it their last album with UMJ or not, proper preparation and consideration should have been placed for such a release. But of course as a committed fan, I'll support this nonetheless. Side note, since their UMJ contract is up soon and there doesn't seem to be any signs of DSP renewing the contract, how about during that time of contemplating and negotiating why not have another Korean comeback for the Korean fans. Just a suggestion.
  2. She and her colorful nails while everyone else has their neutral colors... hahaha...
  3. No matter how many times I watched the performance, the dance is still quite awkward for me. Vocally and visually they were stunning, it's just the choreography that throws it off a bit. I do see some Honey moves in there which was quite cute but other than that the choreography as a whole was not really necessary for the song or performance. If they did need choreography I would have preferred something a bit more simple, like minimal, and fluid movements. If anything the only part that would need a choreographed moment would be during the instrumental break during the middle of the song but even then I would still prefer minimal and fluid movements as well. But overall great performance from them. Can't wait to see more upcoming performances.
  4. So I'm just wondering, does their bakery still exist? Does the profit still go to charity? What happened or is happening to their business?
  5. I love the way she's been styling herself recently. She's wearing a lot of those oversized, loose-fitting, silk style shirts lately, pairing them with slim fitting jeans to contrast the loose fit is definitely complimenting her figure. I especially love the outfit she wore on the show Diet Survival Bigstory. The three-quarter length sleeve, with the loose fit, and the bow at the collar, and then pairing it up with a pair of fitted, flared denim, which added a nice retro feel to the outfit, that elongated her legs was a win for me. She's becoming more and more of a mature, sophisticated, elegant, and feminine fashionista these days.
  6. She's back to the dark side... hahaha... Now she looks for like a vixen goddess rather than an angelic one... hahaha... She looks sexier with this new color, I think it'll bring out a bit more of her vixen side... hahaha... But poor girl, her hair must be so damaged by now, she keeps going through such dramatic color changes.
  7. Thanks for taking action mae! Possibly We Got Married?... hahaha... Wishful thinking. But glad to hear that she's not randomly jumping in to just any activities. This mean she's being selective and actually has a say in what she wants her solo activities to be now. If anything I take it as Nicole's way of homing her skills and talents for the fans.
  8. I seriously need to vent something. Though I'm incredibly proud of Hara and the girls with this comeback, but it's bringing out the worse side of me as a fan. I just want to flip a giant bird at all those idiotic haters/antis!
  9. I assumed they filmed this twice or so, because the editing is a little off... hahaha... 2:01 Nicole runs back with male dancers, 2:04 male dancers disappear, 2:06 male dancers reappear, the whole performance GyuRi had no socks, 2:36 socks suddenly appeared, 2:39 socks disappear, 3:15 socks reappear... hahaha... Quite the editing they have going on there at MBC... hahaha...
  10. I'm quite surprised that the song got released to radio so soon. So I guess the video won't be released until a week or so before the single is released. A wonderful mid-tempo ballad. I love how it has such a classic J-Pop feel to it. Kara, taking it back to olden day J-Pop. I've said this many times before and I'll say it again, I love the fact that DSP and UMJ are promoting Kara as true J-Pop artist. After Mr, all their Japanese releases have been original songs, rather than translated Korean releases. Was this song produced by SweetTunes again? If it is, they sure know the J-Pop market well. Keep up the partnership you two!
  11. I need to vent something but I really did not know which thread was best to vent it in so I'll do it here because it does pertain to this particular album comeback. There has been discussions, debates, and I guess you can say arguments concerning what has happened ever since they made their comeback. The main issue was the now infamous disregard for Kara's win for their comeback, involving a certain idol group and their producer. What surprise me was the sudden backlash that Kara had to/still is suffering through. It really boggles my mind to see such dislikes and hatred towards them for no relevant or reasonable reasons. Reading comments on YouTube and AllKpop, both of which I really care less about, Fandoms are up and armed for reasons that their group didn't win because the girls made their comeback. Excuse you, but what made you think your group would win other wise with numbers that state the obvious and facts?! But the thing that bothers me is how they seem to be attacking the girls and Kamilias alike. I don't see them attacking the other groups that have taken the spotlight from their bias, they seem to be taking advantage of the fact that Kamilias are a respectable, reasonable, level-headed, intellectual, and calm fandom. Disregarding the fact that Kara deserved the awards because their bias deserves it more? Excuse you, but who said anyone deserves it more than anyone else? Do you feel so insecure about your bias winning on their own merit that you feel that you must take it out on another deserving group? I really hate to bring something like this up again but I just needed to vent it. But I'm glad the girls weren't affected by it nor did it stop them from celebrating their rightful wins!
  12. Hahaha... I see Nicole's back to her flirty ways with that dancer, or possible hoobea, of her's... hahaha... I can see a playful expression on her face and an amused smirk on his. And then she tempted him even more by holding on to his blazer and getting closer to him. You're such a tease Nicole... hahaha...
  13. I second your opinion YOBI. I adore Hara, but after all the performances that they've done, I don't quite feel satisfy with the "improvements" that I see from her vocally. After her solo song from City Hunter and their 2Me single, I was quite excited and anticipated what she would bring to the table vocally this time around, but I was quite disappointed. She just sounded like how she did from their previous releases. I know there are probably other factors that play in to this, be it the producers of the song telling her to sing that type of range or something else, and I know her voice is known to be more low and monotone but I was hoping for something more. I can see her trying her best, but I can also see hesitation in her whenever she's singing live with the girls, I feel she still lacks that confidence to take her vocals to the next level. I know she wants to continuously improve, not only for herself but for the fans as well. DSP, do something about it!
  14. I was thinking the same thing about their celebratory encore stage, all the dancers came out, cheered for them, celebrated with them, they even bowed as well. This just slowly confirms my assumptions that those dancers are DSP's trainees getting ready to debut soon. Which I find absolutely endearing, hoobeas celebrating with their sunbaes, and what great sunbaes to be learning from. DSP love! I love their genuine surprised expression, such humble girls. I too wish for at least two consecutive wins for Inkigayo as well, they have yet to achieve that. Which I find extremely odd.
  15. I adore her new hair! I was hoping that they would something different with her hair this round of promotions and they did. She looks more mature and sophisticated. At certain angles and moments she looks a bit like Luna.
  16. This girl is seriously growing up very well. She's maturing so gracefully. She's getting prettier and prettier each time I see her. I personally think that she's the perfect example of someone who takes care of themselves, who wants and knows what's best for herself. She eats, but she knows that to maintain a healthy lifestyle a diet and a proper exercise regime is a must. She doesn't deny it nor does she fret about it, she applies it and does it. Good for her! That's why I'm never surprise whenever an article is published about her healthy body, the girl works hard for it, in such a healthy way, that it should be recognized. Keep it up Nicole! Oh, love the hair by the way, the side ponytail is adorable.
  17. Glad they decided to live feed their showcase. But I must say, not a fan of the outfits they had on for Step. I was hoping for something a bit more fierce. Did not care so much for the boots, though I know it's probably for comfort purposes when they dance, but I would prefer to see them with heels on with better outfits. And note to stylists, enough with the tassels/fringes. I did like their outfits for Date, it suited the song very nicely. But I was hoping for a different outfit when they sang Dear Kamilia, I was thinking like gowns or dresses. But overall I enjoyed it, it was definitely a great preview for their comeback on MNet. Side note: where those DSP trainees I saw dancing with Kara during Date? The possible future boy band that they've been planning?
  18. I can see that they've gain a lot more now that they've become much more popular and successful, add to that with the contract dispute and Hara's newly developed relationship. Just take it as a compliment, it just means more attention are now paid to our girls, there's interest in what they do. But yes, ignoring them is the best. It sometimes bothers me that Kamilias would bother to even acknowledge those comments that those antis write. I know you're trying to defend the girls and "set the record straight", which I truly appreciate and sometimes feel like doing it myself, but by acknowledging those comments it just means that they've done their job at getting to you. You say to just ignore but all you do is reply to their idiotic comments. Just thank them for taking their time out to comment, no matter how idiotic their comments are, on anything related to Kara. Be it on allkpop or YouTube, it just means an increase in article bump and views for our girls.
  19. I second your sentiment ForeverKamilia. Korea prefer idol groups to stick with the upbeat dance tracks, though they can be quite hypocritical at times, an addictive upbeat track with terrible to mediocre vocals equals to mass popularity, while a soothing ballad with strong to powerhouse vocals equal lackluster or lukewarm reception. Either one there's something that Korean will complain about. But back to UMJ's strategy for Kara, I really appreciate that they are actually trying to promote Kara as a legitimate J-Pop artist rather than another foreign group trying to break in the Japanese market momentarily. I'm not quite familiar with the J-Pop scene but from what I've heard or seen, true Japanese artist releases seasonal singles, and Kara has already begun their transformation through Go Go Summer and now, hoping the rumors are true, a winter ballad. Just like how they renew their transformation with Kara5, they're starting off with a fresh and innocent image and slowly evolve in to a true Japanese group with each single and album that they release in the future. And honestly, anything that promotes their vocal talents more and slowly move away from their bodies the better. I'm really excited to see what UMJ has plans for them this winter. After watching and listening to 今、贈りたい「ありがとう」, I really can't wait for their next ballad and many others to come.
  20. I seriously cannot get over how elegant, sophisticated, and mature Nicole looked and radiated during the K-Pop Dance Cover Festival. The long hair just added to her image of elegance. Though she radiate maturity there was this sense of innocence and naivety that was so endearing. The way she smiled, answered, and her overall reactions were absolutely endearing. It's not hard to fall for her many charms.
  21. They were sitting from youngest to oldest... hahaha... Just thought I pointed that out. I thought it was quite fun. SeungYeon seems to be a lot more perkier, I know she's always been perky, but it seems to me she was extra perky. I guess she was just happy that all five of them can sit together and enjoy themselves once again. But it seems to me Hara was a bit more subdue than she use to be. Not to offend the great legend that was Michael Jackson, but I thought it was quite freaky each time they did a close-up on SeungYeon and there his face was right in the corner staring out. I can't wait for the next episode.
  22. ^That pic. Such innocence and purity, you would never expect that as the Nicole that we see on stage. Her face looks slimmer, or is that just me.
  23. I see their Intro being the introduction to their comeback stage, come on: Bring it on, bring it on, Kara's back on the stage, bring it on... What better intro then that?! I hope they will perform four different songs for the four different comeback stages too. I posted this on allkpop but I just have to add that I love the lyrical content of the song. Just like Lupin, this song has a message to it, it's so much more than a love song. The poignancy of the song is quite clear, it describes what the girls went through the first half of the year and how they feel now and what they want from here on out. No more tears or worries, it will not be forgotten because it made them stronger, but it's time to forge forward to a better future, because all five are here together so it's time to step it up!
  24. Now that you brought it up, I do feel a bit jibbed from the MV. I thought they would at least showcase the different titles of their past hits but we hardly got a glance at them, though I didn't mind because the focus are the girls but I was hoping for something reminiscent, something more. But other than that I am really happy with how everything turned out. DSP and the girls kept their promise of coming back stronger and better than ever. Now we just have to wait another week or so before their official stage comeback. *sigh* More waiting!
  25. A lot of times things don't live up to certain expectations and hype that has been placed upon or publicized about, but this is an exception. This was well worth the wait and hype. DSP, you and the girls truly did not disappoint. I always love Kara's albums, there doesn't seem to be a single filler song (aside from the Intro and Outro). Once again all the songs are single worthy, some more than other but at least you'll never get tire of listening to them. The video: such vibrancy! Love it! Nicole solo dance break!... I want their comeback stages to have those back-up dancers behind them! I don't know what else to say. I'm freaking out from excitement and am at a complete loss for words. This is just so epic! What a way to comeback and in a big way no less!
