KARA is attracting attention in the midst of rising prices of Korean home appliances due to the Korean Wave.

According to the famous business news Bloomberg, the korean manufacturers are winning over some Japanese consumers.

Many Japanese consumers used to feel reluctant about buying products made in neighboring South Korea, but K-pop turned the game around.

Bloomberg posted the picture of the girl group KARA with this article. LG hired KARA, a female Korean dance and music group, to appear in advertisements in Japan for its Optimus smartphones because they are popular among young women, whom they are targeting.

Bloomberg speculated that this phenomenon was due to a sense of kinship that the consumer feels which leads them to buy the product when the music group whom they favor advertises or uses that product.

Bloomberg is a company established in 1981 by Michael Bloomberg in New York, and is a trusted company in analyzing financial markets, and economies.

Wow, power of KARA. They get recognized if it American televsion, that is awesome. KARA representative. So can we hope that KARA would get like a special award in japan, for spread the love. I guess dbsk got the japanese ppl interested in kpop, while KARA got japanese ppl interested in kpop applications and stuff. I guess if you a really good korean artist in japan, then you would at least spread something in japan.

they already have LG which is just as good as Samsung. which has IU now anyway, at least domestically. also it seems there is more competition for samsung, so it might be safer to stay with LG.

appliances would work too. you got nicole in the kitchen, maybe seungyeon doing laundry, gyuri cleaning with vacuum, jiyoung raiding the fridge, hara chilling and watching movie on large tv.

KARA has really gained popularity even in the West...

And they now appeared in a US business news!:D Daebak!!!

If you read the news article carefully you'll know that it isn't about KARA's popularity in Western countries.... it's about the Japanese buying Korean products due to the recent Kpop boom in Japan. Just saying(:

Nonetheless, i'm VERY VERY happy for the girls. Bloomberg is such a huge company and for them to feature KARA just shows how popular our girls are. Best ####ing 5 indeed!<333
