PioneerLtTwinkie
Lol I'm terrible at giving names. And giving them english names (with the exception of Nicole) would feel weird to me. Their names itself is special and by looking, reading or hearing it, it gives off a different feel to it. If Kara themselves came up with their english names THEN those names would have value to it.
mono02
Gyuri : Jasmine, I think it fits a goddess =] it has an elegant and mysterious vibe to it, I think Seungyeon : Haylie, it's a very cute name and is very girly. Hara : Madison, it's a very mature and cool name. It's calming? hahaha Nicole : Nicole!! Hahaah since it's already an English name... Jiyoung : Ginny, cause it's cute, yet feisty at the same time

GooBurberrHara
am I the only one that thinks their names are fine the only one that I would change due to pronunciation difficulties for non korean speakers or those people who speak spanish, english, french or german is Seungyeon. I think JiYoung is fine because alot of surnames in countries like england or us are Young so you just add the "ji" in front og it. Gyrui isn't hard to pronounce and neither is Hara, nicole is obviously a keeper as well. The pronunciation for gyuri would definitely give it the -ri instead of the -li and for Hara, I would just switch it into a more wester form and make it Hara Goo. We know the name Hana and so instead it could be pronounced as Hana but with an -r so HaRa....i think people would like this name. Seungyeon might be a bit difficult though. so maybe something like Sharon instead.

Laura Reis
Haha, great idea post. I think my names for them would be: Gyuri: Jennifer > I do not know, that name reminds me of someone powerful, smart, and even bad (in a good way xD, like American girls who rule the school, even as a strong name for Gyuri because she is innocent); SeungYeon: Anne > For me, it's a totally sweet name that matches the kind of face our cute hamster, haha. (one of my favorite names); Nicole: Sam > I confess that the name was harder to think, but I think it combines with Nicole, I think that name from someone also powerful and sexy, like, Sam is the hottest girl in school (lol, do not know if it would be the right name for Nicole); Hara: Violet or Beatrice > Ok, not a violet color here, keke ~ The two combine style with the "small and quiet" Hara, especially Violet, as if she were made of glass, but also delicate and elegant (I Beatrice I found in a book xD); Jiyoung: Baby or Lily > ok, baby is not a good name, but matches the Baby jingly. Lily for me is a very innocent and delicate name that perfectly matches her. (but I prefer Baby xD). SungHee: Michelle > yeah, I think it's perfect for her, combines with her face and her hair (?) Weird, but I have to agree with you, haha. SungHee, love you.
