[2015.03.03] Hara responds to malicious rumors about an idol's sex life

Recently, a report came out with detailed remarks about a girl group member's private life, spreading rumors about an idol.  While this report had stated nothing about KARA'sHara, she surprisingly seemed to have left a response to this on March 3.  Ironically enough, this stirred up even more attention, specifically on her, as people began assuming she might be the idol in question.

Recently a media outlet reported that idol group member was dating B, calling it a 'top idol couple's 19+ love.'  The report stated that while A was on a Japan tour in the middle of last year, she reserved an extra room to avoid her members where she invited her boyfriend, B.  The report stated, "If your tail is too long, people are bound to find out. During a concert, A fainted due to a stomachache, which was later found out to have been caused by a virus infection from sex (STD), causing chaos for the members and the agency."

Seemingly as a response to this, on March 3, Hara wrote on Twitter, "Don't bite the tail of a unrelated person~"  She later re-tweeted her fan club's tweet about recruiting people to quickly find a capture of the malicious rumors.

Thanks for posting this information.

Just my opinion........anyone who loves to spread rumors or malicious, false information usually gets stung or bad karma coming back to them. It happens to all of us.

It is the best interests of all fans and followers alike that we respect the privacy of any idol. It is quite interesting that others would really dig up dirt or mud into an idol's life (or idols), especially dealing with sensitive topics and extremely personal information.

For Goo Hara to respond in kind is simply that she and many other idols are very likely not pleased with certain individuals or groups that are eager to humiliate or embarrass them online without evidence or proof, plus the common courtesy and respect for their privacy and their livelihood.

Whomever is involved or making such claim needs to get a life or maintain one without inflicting harm physicially, mentally, or psychologically to others.

Just the same as in the real world, the internet (and the media) is full of people with bad intentions.
Respect must be given to Hara for standing up and defending the dignity of her fellow idols.
If you try to stand up for the oppressed, then you yourself become a target.
In the process, she throws herself into the path of the bullet and takes the flak herself.
She is speaking not only for herself, but for all celebrities and the daily abuse that they receive.

Support our idols,
Protect their privacy and,
Respect the hardships they went through to entertain us.

In the end, they are human beings just like us with emotions and feelings.

evil people do exist. well u reap what u sow. it's one of the universal/natural laws.

as for Hara's brave reaction to the malicious rumor....

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it (Albert Einstein)

We all know Hara responded to this matter out of kindness. cant really blame other people for targeting her when suddenly an idol reacted towards such sensitive issue where no names being mentioned. Being an idol, they know the consequences when they involve themselves into sensitive issues like this.

Hara is brave and wise enough to try and step up and stop the rumor.

And yes we are with you Hara Goo !

^  Makes me sad too T.T A lot of people read something off the internet and immediately believe it to be true. They read the gossip on Hara and don't even find out if the source is reliable. They make up stuff out of thin air and add things to the story that shouldn't even be in it.

This article is nerve wrecking! How could these reporters spread this crap! Are they losing their minds? Well, kudos to Hara, she bravely stand up against these rumors. Just hoping it isn't her. Or maybe, there are people who love to ruin an idol's life for a hobby.

Just because of this now everyone think it's hara? lmao

No, it's not just because of this, but also other things, such as Hara causing that embarassing scene on Radio Star when she was called a "dating idol".

It's amazing how Hara has been in the business for years, but seems to be making just about every mistake one can make to draw attention to such matters.

But anyway, as for the rumor, if there's any truth in it (fainting as a result of STD...? what??), the most likely person to be the idol in question is f(x)'s Krystal, who actually did faint last year, if memory serves, and as an American would probably be readier for sexual encounters than Korean-born idols.

why r u blaming Hara? She didn't do anything wrong during the radio show thing. She was just doing what the show expected her to do as a variety show ace - to make the show more interesting to watch. It was all done in a lighthearted fashion and she was exaggerating her reactions as expected on such shows. The show hosts and the producer knew that. Sensible viewers knew that too. That was why it wasn't edited out. Because it was all just fun and games. And it worked too. the ratings for that show did shoot up with her appearance. But unfortunately some antis saw an opportunity to create a 'scandal' from it thus inciting a fan war which then blew out of proportion, moreover, overshadowed Kara's comeback. They spewed out lies such as  'Hara being disrespectful to her seniors by throwing a water bottle' (which wasn't the case at all), but unfortunately a lot of gullible ppl took the bait, thus feeding the flame.

And as for her reaction to the malicious rumor, it wasn't a mistake either. it takes a lot of courage to do that (with her own popularity at stake). But sometimes ppl have to stand up against such BS. Not just look the other way. And as we all know, KARA does not take BS lightly :P

What I hate the most in Kpop are rumors and antis. I don't understand why some people can't just let idols lead their life as they want and let the fans enjoy. To be honest, I don't care about my 'idols private life' because their are humans and so can't be perfect. If we accept that fact so life would be more simple.
