How To Make a Daum Account

☆ Why you will need it: To make it easier to sign up for certain websites, as some websites don’t allow you to use e-mail services such as hotmail, yahoo!, etc.

☆ STEP 1:
→ Got to the Daum website and click on the buttons indicated in the picture:

☆ STEP 2:

→ Make sure to click the button with the envelope to sign up for e-mail!

And you should be directed to a sign up page that looks like this:

☆ STEP 3:

→ This step is a bit tricky, so make sure you follow along carefully!
Fill out the first box like so:

When you are able to receive the activation code a pop out box will appear that looks like this:

The e-mail from Daum should arrive in a few seconds. The e-mail you receive with the code will look like this:

Next, you will be putting this code into the box below the one of your e-mail and clicking the button next to it:

☆ STEP 4:

→ You will have to put in your name into the next box. It should be less than 15 characters:

☆ STEP 5:

→ Click the check boxes and click the big blue button at the end and you’re almost finished!

☆ STEP 6:

→ Password time! Type in your preferred password into the next box:

If your password is valid, then the box will turn green and there will be green text underneath it like this:

☆ STEP 7:

→ Now, this step will vary depending on your computer. You will need to type in Korean characters for the captcha to be able to type them in:

On a Mac this is easy. You just go to your keyboard preferences and add the Korean keyboard to your computer. Then you can open up the keyboard viewer and type using a keyboard that pops out on your computer like this:
