It stands for 'membership training' (엠티) and serves as a mean to build strength and unity within a group. Many students especially in college go on these trips to remote areas like temples and (yes) the mountain side. So, it got me thinking how AWESOME it would be to go on a MT with idol stars who have a proven variety show record. On July 29, Kara’s Goo Hara and Lee Soo Hyuk were spotted by Japanese and Korean fans, shopping together in Tokyo’s Harajuku. It was said that the two seemed quite close to each other and caused people to wonder if they were dating. However, the agencies of both sides have denied such claims, saying they are merely close friends. DSP Media stated that Goo Hara, who is currently promoting in Japan, acted as a guide to help Lee Soo Hyuk on some of his purchases. Likewise, SidusHQ said that Lee Soo Hyuk had gone on a trip to Japan after the conclusion of KBS’ Shark. “He ended up going alone due to his manager’s busy schedule,” said SidusHQ, who added that Lee Soo Hyuk currently has no girlfriend. The two were spotted by Korean fans on July 29 in Harajuku, Japan, shopping for clothes along the “Cat Street.” Rumors started to spread that these two were dating, but Goo Hara’s agency, DSP Media, was quick to deny it. It stated to several news agencies, “It is true that Goo Hara met Lee Soo Hyuk in Japan, but the two are just friends.” DSP Media explained to Star News, “Model-turned-actor Kim Young Gwang was Goo Hara’s partner in the Kara’s upcoming five-episode drama ‘Secret Love,’ and he is friends with Lee Soo Hyuk. Goo Hara came to become friends with Lee Soo Hyuk too.
