It is easier to distinguish Nicole's and Gyuri's voices..

Gyuri's is at another level while Nicole's is at the other end..

For Seungyeon, Hara and Jiyoung.. they sounded kind of similar to me and it'll take me a while to distinguish them..

Let's hope i can distinguish their voices easily next time!

I am so thankful about Kara.

they are probably among the few groups in which it wasn't hard for me to tell who is singing.

I can actually tell everyone's voices a part.

Of course, the first voice I learned was Nicole then Gyuri.

After that, everything came together fast.

I'm still kinda etchy about Jiyoung's voice though, kinda hard for me in a way.

I can distinguish all their voices. Nicole has that cute american-feel voice. Seugyeon has that sweet voice. Gyuri has that powerful voice. Hara has a child-like sound to her. And Jiyoung I think is the best vocalist so of course I would be able to tell her voice.

actually, all of their voices are very distinguishable.

if you are fluent in korean, you can tell the differences in the way each member pronounces korean words.

gyuri...sounds like a goddess

seungyeon has this clear voice, and i'd say she has the best korean pronounciation (i guess from all her previous mc experiences)

nicole has lots of english influced pronounciations, and the flow of her korean is pretty english-y =P. and her voice is VERY unique.

hara has a childish voice, and her pronounciation is slightly different from gyuri's, seungyeon's and jiyoung's because she grew up speaking a more southern dialect.

and jiyoung sounds like a middle schooler XD

I can tell in some of the newer songs like Mister or Wanna, but the song I want to know the most is Let it go.... when the song picks up around 2:00 in is when all the good singing kicks in and I really wish I could tell who was singing which part.

Someone help me out?

that would be nicole =)

i choose gyuri..

i think her voice is the easiest to distinguish..

and sunghee is noticeable also..

and the rest, sometimes i can tell the difference..

but for some song, it is a little difficult..

the funny thing for me is gyuri's voice is like a mature woman, but hara and jiyoung's voice like a little girl..lol..

but i love all of their voices :)

  • 4 weeks later...

oooh!

when I first heard Kara (break it), I identified Sunghee's voice as being the super strong one, and managed to identify hers in their other singles.

Then for the current Kara, Gyuri has a unique pitch/tone, Hara has a distinctive lower "flat-ish" voice.

I'm sometimes confused between Nicole and Seungyeon (like for Lupin), and I can only identify Jing when it's aegyo-ish, haha.

So, therefore, I can recognize Gyuri, Sunghee and Hara's very well :D
