mae
^^ well other than English with Nicole and Seungyeon kinda admitted she doesn't really speak in English anymore.. um i don't think.. but i remember Seungyeon saying she wants to learn Japanese.. DSP seems to not train them from the beginning with foreign languages classes, it's when they need to that they actually do.
DarkRokushoX
i would say they can do ok in japan but for now i hate to say this but its gonna be really hard for them in the u.s. but i know they will get better so maybe...
Incubus
I think that Kara should focus on their career in Korea first . then go to Japan or China . rofl . I wouldn't want them to go to America .. really .. cause to be honest , they won't be able to make it big over there ><
aalca
Right now, I dont think they will be able to reach going to japan/america... they're good however they're not that popular in korea so.. i would say someday but not yet.
Solin
I agree with that ! I don't think KARA is ready to go oversea for now actually they always need to gain and set their popularity in Korean but if they plane to do it later on I find Japan is the best place to begin
mae
just do your thing in korea and if your worth it, you'll be popular overseas jsut cuz your that good. not cuz you catered to their culture. i agree they're good however they're not that popular in korea so.. i would say someday but not yet. they are getting there however.. i'm pretty sure we don't have to worry about them leaving Korea anytime soon
miyachan11
Kara should focus on Korea first ^^ I'm sure they will go to China and Japan for promotions after that ^^
chupachups
yep. it doesn't seem likely that they will branch out of Korea any soon, since DSP will be debuting Rainbow in Japan and SS501 is still growing there. lol. Kara would probably be busy promoting themselves in Korea. but yep, i do hope they'll get to perform for Hollywood Bowl next year. just to experience the feel of performing overseas. i hope DSP will create a mini Asia tour for them. lol. to Thailand or China. they are quite well received from those two countries. *from what i'm aware of. lol*
shygywu
it's good 4 them if they can debut in japan or other.. but if they debut in japan, they must live their hometown 4 a long time... n they would tired... better not really tired.. better debute in my country (Impossible).. hahaha
GearsOfDeath
They can try Japan first like DBSK xD.. I think they will be famous there too
4EverL
I personally think they would probably make it in Japan =D But as for the Us i don't really know because the style is different
monkee
if they go to JAPAN.. then OF COURSE they would be an instant HIT!!!
kimii
I don't think they're ready for that kind of stuff yet :[ They still have yet to establish a name in Korea. ^__^
mr.pokie!
i think they could make it in japan i mean kara has the style to make it
Julian
I think they'll focus on Korea first, and maybe expand to Japan. I actually really do believe that KARA has a chance in Japan. Who knows, maybe their learning Japanese secretly?
jihaebutt
hehe. But i want them to stay in Korea. lol. it's selfish of me to say that, though. :/ I don't like it when my favorite artists keep going away to different countries T_T for long extended periods of time. chupachups
i think with all these recent "hints", we can say that DSP does has plans for them to branch out in Japan. with Seungyeon saying that they may be having a showcase with SS501 in Japura and now, with them being the VJs for Jpop Wave.. lol but yea, i agree with Star. I want them to stay in Korea too. or maybe back to back promotions? Like BB and Ft Island are doing. lol. but either way, i still want them to mark their spot in Korean Entertainment Scene. mr.pokie!
yeah true i think Kara should keep promoting untill late spring but i believe they well make it in japan they have the right thing to get famous in japan even kara's image is good enough for them to get famous over there i hope the girls are learning japanese Edited January 19, 2009 by mr.pokie! monkee
there is like a china fan club already. but def. JAPAN. sooner or later they'll be going there. they have the techniques for it.
gd5
DSP is going a lot of things these days, so I am not surprise if they do
evile-hyung
As much as that sounds good for them, I kinda disagree with them going overseas. They still have to carve their niche in the Kpop world and build a solid fanbase. I love how they're gaining attention with "Pretty Girl". KARA Fighting!! Felipperodrig
Now, I think they should pay only in Korea, to create a huge base of fans there. After that, they are preparing you learn and improve it in new languages.
k chan
i think that KARA isnt like any DSP girl group because theyre quite famous and popular now..but if they really debut overseas..that wud be aa huuuuge step forward and sooooo great..i really think they have a chance.. there wud be an even higher possibility.. if they release an english album..that wud be really cool..!! especially since some KARA members speak english
