Nobody is able to see number which is out of daily top 3. But there is expert who uses history number to estimate/predict dialy number. eyeless Posted September 8, 2010 Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) This, I do some comparing, don't read if it might offend you First, Kara [Mister] 1st day sales is (around) 9,349 and SNSD is 11,117 1st day sales number picture group's fanbase size (more of hardcore fans which called "wota" in Japan) which SNSD has a little more than KARA. It's strange, because from Hanteo half year 2010 single, Oh! + repackage sales is 167k while Lupin is 26k. It such a big gap there for fanbase size in Korea. But not in Japan. Based on the 1st day sales, SNSD should sell a little more around KARA had for 1st week sales IF Genie has the same consistent sales as Mister. But, the thing is, KARA already recorded some TV music show and variety show from a week before their release date and stay in Japan for about a month, while SNSD (should refer to SM or UMJ) seems like half-assing their promotion. I don't think SNSD did any recording for music show in Japan before today release (I've been lurking soshified and SNSD soompi thread for around 2 weeks ) Kara's mister consistent sales kinda picture the number of their casual fans, which mainly come from any promotion and their image they had in Japan. Will SNSD have the same consistent sales? Still a mistery to me, I have to wait for a couple of days forward This from SM, from SNSD soompi thread Girls Generation has already become famous in Japan as they have been publicized through the Internet so far, and so they are performing activities in Japan not as rookie singers, but as ‘Asia’s number one star girl group. But in Japan, KARA has more promos that reached to the general public so they attracted more fans and buyers. They also talked about Kara's debut, the postponing of the mini-album in Korea by four weeks, how Hammie resembles Hamtaro, they also said she's the best at Japanese in the group and one show said that Kara will start promoting a new song in Japan next month (I think they mean the next single but they don't specify a date) Edit: oh yeah thet're still in the top 20! Kara fighting!
