Yes, but I still hope there's a backlog of sales so they can get it this week. Besides, the only artist stopping them from getting #1 is Utada Hikaru, one of the heavyweights in Jpop, and it is a singles compilation of hers after all. It's too bad they're not going to be on Kohaku, that would have given them so much more interest from Japanese fans...

If they maintain 8k average for 3 remaining days(Tues is not counted) + 5k(say 5k bonus) = 29k

29k+ 68k = 97 k (Yikes short of 3K)

Hope it maintains its consistent trend! :thumbup: Anyway First week 90+ K is more or less certain.. no joke KARA is one of the top selling Kpop group in Japan now. This will be hard to beat.. keke

I think KARA weren't be able to hit 100K in one week, as much as I would love that , I don't think it going to happen. But they be very close, I think maybe beat the ninki predication, or they hit around 95K. If they hit 95K, and plus the weekly bonus and if bonus is around 5K, then the girls has hit 100K and another gold. I even calcuated it KARA sold around 68537, for the 3 đay(not include friday sell)KARA would need to sell about 8821 for each đay. I think that KARA could defintely do that. It would be great if friday sells was around 10K, I think since wednesday sells was 19K, and thursday was 13K, I think it could fall but hopefully it still in 100K. The girls did fanastic I so happy for them, I defintely think they are going to sell more than what the ninki predication. Anyone know what friday mid days sell was

oricon weekly should be release on wednesday??

Kara needs 32K sales

my prediction

Saturday : 8k - 9k

Sunday : 10K - 12K

Monday : 6K - 7K

Tuesday : 5K - 6K

Oricon tabulates 6 days as "one week," and inin's post here is really helpful since I fail at explanations :P

Actually, this week is just really confusing, and no one is for certain what's going on. Some people are telling me that monday sales will not count, some are saying there's no weekly bonus, idek. All I know is that the girls are doing quite well ;)

...and that Utadas sales are so o.O atm. Wuuuut is going on...? I know some fans are saying her music is no longer as fun as it was back in her prime (~Deep River days), and that cd sales aren't everything, but...is it even going to hit 200k the rate this is going?

omg i missed yesterday sales -_- wah another slight difference than what i predict..

so..today..i dare to say the sales would be around 10-13k!! :optimistic:

and i think they could reach 100k this week..Hell yeah..Gold is coming!

as it turned out, im allowed to use the com in the hotel, so here i am :)

but the best thing is that GT is doing WAYYYYY better than i thought!!!!! XD

like seriously i nvr thought that kara would do this well (though in j-pop it isnt very fantastic) :thumbup1:

and to those who are predicting 100k in 1st week, ummm that isn't very realistic, especially when kara only has about 36k for 1st day sales. im predicting:

Saturday: 10k

Sunday: 9-11k

Monday: 7k

so with the current 68k we have now, this will bring to a total of 94k (just my prediction) and if possible add another 2k for weekly bonus - so total 96k 1st week x3

just wondering here but should my prediction be correct/close, does this actually mean that kara is on its way to beat Perfume in terms of sales??? cos their latest single "Nee" sold only 85k for 1st week :P

100k in the first week isn't a dream anymore. what UMJ predicted for 200k isn't an exaggerating statement (wait, they predicted it for girls talk or jumping? forgot, sorry :sweatdrop:). they're really something.. thanks for the numbers guys :)

do we have to thank dsp who made kara's butt dance that brings them here? :P

today's sales is better than i thought XD

11.8k today is amazingggggg hehe. tomorrow is sunday so i suppose there'll be another weekend bonus?? the sales are actually very consistent so i'll change my prediction:

Sunday: 12k (i think they can do it :thumbup:)

Monday: 8-9k

Total -> 100k + weekly bonus 2k = 102k

if they can get 100k in 1st week, i'll be so proud of my girls and cry. cant wait for tuesday to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!
