It's nice that Kara got 2nd place but I think it's kinda....unfair.

TBH, Kohaku rating been going down and maybe that's why they're looking for Hallyu artists to go on there to boost their ratings.

But as a long time jpop fans too, lots of people work for YEARS and not go on this show but Kara and SNSD debuted for couple months in Japan and already got spots.....it's kinda...unfair. :\

But as a Kara fan I'm happy they're getting attention

It's good that they didn't get chosen to 'host' Kohaku because it would take KARA away from the end of the year Korean specials. At least we know now that they aren't going nor is any other Korean group. But it's still an honor to be 2nd on this list.

Hmmm NHK kouhaku utagasen to this year lost some interest to me, no Kara and SNSD... They have to get a lot popularity in so few months :/ and them participation in japanese variety shows are so good and fun to watching
