올해부터 맨해튼 인근 랜달 아일랜드 파크로 장소를 이전해 행사를 준비 중인 동부 한인사회 최대 가을문화축제인 뉴욕한인 청과협회 주최 2010 뉴욕 추석맞이 대잔치 행사가 오는 10월9일과 10일 이효리, 카라 등 인기가수가 참여한 가운데 성대히 치러질 예정입니다. 고성훈 기자가 보도합니다.


동부 한인사회 최대 가을문화축제인 뉴욕한인 청과협회 주최 2010 뉴욕 추석맞이 대잔치 행사가 구체적인 모습을 드러냈습니다.


그 동안 동포사회의 기대 속에 추석잔치의 일환으로 추진됐던 KBS 열린 음악회가 비용과 일정 문제로 10월 19일 맨해튼 카네기 홀에서 별도 공연을 추진함으로써, 청과협회 뉴욕 추석맞이 대잔치 행사는 10월 9일과 10일 양일간 렌달 아일렌드 파크에서 진행하기로 결정됐습니다.




박종군 회장은 23일 플러싱 열린공간에서 그 동안 열린음악회 준비로 KBS와 협의 중 행사일정이 여러 번 바뀌는 등 세부적인 진행 안건이 장기간 지체됐고, 한국의 추석과 행사날짜가 가까워지면서 연예인 섭외 및 한국 자치 단체장들의 참여가 어려우리라 예상돼 일정을 10월로 변경하게 됐다고 밝혔습니다.

아울러, 청과협회 측은 비록 KBS가 오랫동안 기획해 온 열린음악회가 청과협회 측의 일환으로 개최되지는 않았으나, KBS 측이 원할 경우 각종 후원을 아끼지 않을 계획이라고 말했습니다.




올해 추석맞이 대잔치는 예년보다 많은 인원수용이 가능한 '랜달 아일랜드 파크'에서 열릴 계획이며, 오후 12시에 시작하는 공연은 야간공연을 포함해 오후 10시까지 진행됩니다.




올 해에는 특히 젊은이들에게 선풍적인 인기를 얻고 있는 걸그룹 카라와 이효리 이외에 김종국, 정인, 비스트 등 젊은 가수와 함께 김국환, 현숙, 김부자, 장미화, 태진아 등 다양한 연령대의 연예인들이 모두 참여해 화려한 야간공연을 수놓을 예정입니다


이외에도 한국 국가브랜드 공연으로 자리매김하고 있는 '최소리와 태권아리랑 파티'와 남사당 보존회 주관 남사당패 공연이 양일간 선보일 계획이라고 밝혔습니다.

추석맞이 행사 기간 동안, 한국 막걸리 시음회, 한식 시식회 등 다채로운 음식문화 소개행사와 함께 한인족구대회와 다국적 축구대회도 함께 열릴 예정입니다.

there aren't any news about that right now...but mostly IF they did go to new york, seungyeon won't be there since the news stated that she need to rest for 4 weeks..
