Album [2010.11.17] Korean 4th Mini Album [Jumping]

What I thought when they said they were going to promote "jumping" in both japan and korea, is they might be using Kara's popularity in Japan to affect Kara's popularity in Korea. Like Kara hasn't really gotten this kind of media from Korea before. For like the first time they had 12 minutes in a news show. And like so many articles of their success in Japan.

Sorry to go off topic. But seriously doesn't this count as a comeback???

In one of the japan threads someone said Kara was going announce Jumping to Korea or something like that.

i'm going to kill if original jumping is to be promoted in korea as the official comeback. korea comeback always refers to new korean album release/promotion which comes with week in week out performances on the 4 musical programs. though saying, i'm still worried.

this Jumping before comeback was scheduled because of ham's unwanted accident, the last announce was "kara will be back on Dec in Korea!".

Ah man, I don't want Jumping to be the Korean comeback. I want it for Japan and Japan only. I was hoping for a NEW album with NEW songs just like what Red said. Aaaahh DSP, please don't disappoint us too much...

The article also talked about how their original comeback was scheduled for September but was delayed due to Seungyeon's injury.

I still have mixed feelings about the girl's co-promoting in Japan and Korea but hopefully everything will turn out for the best!

using google translation, so dsp planned to use jumping (original) as the comeback (4th mini-album) but postponed instead to debut in japan because of seungyeon injury. oh that's probably make bit of sense (because they have no time) but i'm deeply disappointed.

thanks inin, anyway until the official statement, there's still hope of a NEW comeback during year end festival.

^ i think it'll be a mini-album - or at least, that's what my instincts are telling me. but if the korean comeback just turns out to be a single, im so gonna start screaming at dsp. but in my opinion, for the korean kamilias to be satisfied and for the girls to fully enjoy themselves throughout the promotions are way more important.

in any case, i wonder how jumping will sound like in korean?? in japanese it sounds totally AWESOME, but things can get pretty screwed after translating the song. mr worked out brilliantly, but im not too sure about jumping. to me, it (jumping) sounds much more japanese and somehow lacks the k-popish feel to it. just my opinion here.

being the original, (hope) it has to be better sounded. likewise the original kamilias are far more supportive than others (imo), so they will still be happy in whatever sequences kara comes to them. i just hope they aren't disappointed much with how things progress. i mean they were supposed to be the first to "hear" & "see" jumping but they understand the most matter thing is from kara perception.

it was reported long ago in newsbox that they are planning for a korea comeback with a 4th mini-album in end sep if not for seungyeon injury. imo original jumping is a single, not an album. no news on re-sing burn in hangul too, so where do they find new songs to make an album for comeback? as always.

DSP is confusing the crap out of me. So if Jumping was supposed to be released in September, did they have a new song in mind for Japan? Or were they planning on rehashing it and releasing afterwards like SNSD will do with Hoot? What the flying eff is going on? November 17th??? As in right between the release of Jumping and the Japanese album? Will the mini-album have Korean versions of the songs on the Japan album? <--this thought actually just came to me - since they are releasing nine new songs in Japan, it's probably going to be the case.

You have no idea how much Kara in Japan makes me stress - I've been freaking out since Ninki came out for Mister, and it's like a constant freak out of nononono go left, nononono go right to try to crash the car -__-

So far, I feel that everything has worked out really nicely for Kara, and UMJ has not yet made a major mistake, but it seems like the Korean comeback is going to be the next thing to stress about...

I understand that it's the critical development time in Japan, so Korea may need to be shafted so Japan can get more attention since it's be established or die there, but no one - not the fans, the girls, the world, deserve a half-assed comeback. I don't understand how they can perform even a week on music shows - don't they start performing in Japan that weekend for Jumping? Do they plan on prerecording and ship the girls over, dead tired, to perform? Or do they want them to start performing in Korea over a week after album release, where the initial sales will have already started to taper off?

I'm pretty sure Jumping was originally planned as the title song of a mini album, not a single, because it was announced a long time ago that they're going to come back with a mini album, right? So they should have all the songs recorded before September, and not hurriedly hashed together last month or something. DSP may not be good at promoting but I don't think they will destroy the quality of the mini album by producing it too quickly. An example was KARA's second album, where they redid the whole album just because a better concept came up. I think this gives insight as to the importance that DSP and KARA places on musical quality.

I think they were planning on releasing Jumping first in Korea, THEN translating it into Japanese, but Seungyeon's injury came up and the plan had to be reversed. That would explain the "Original Version" of Jumping included in the Japanese single.

I have NO idea, but if they do this I'd be very disappointed.

No idea how the co-promoting in Korea and Japan is going to work, but I'm not too worried. If the girls agreed to it, they can pull it off. I think they would rather be crazily working than staying at home with nothing to do. Of course there's a limit as to how much they can handle, but I'm sure the girls can take care of themselves, and DSP can take care of the girls (because they've done a pretty good job so far).

my thought was they were still in midst of recording the mini but the unfortunate happened hence they halted every production & changed plan by shifting focus towards japan promotion. as a result jumping will be promoted as a new song & release in japan prior korea. so my worry was since mini was not ready, they made the cross jumping promotion decision as the comeback. this was worrying me but i'm coming to term that original jumping is the comeback. my fading hope is to seperate jumping from mini & for them to start working (redo) on another title song. but again jing tweet more or less damn my hope.

agree with all, good things do come up, the girls get more rest & us get more than 3 weeks.

edit: ok have gone to newsbox & saw the comeback confirmation but the details are still unclear. will there be a new title song? or still sticking with jumping? wish i can jump (forward in time too). lol.

@inin my guess is as close to yours. usually when they announce the comeback.. the songs are usually 80-100% percent complete just like the Lupin album.. when DSP said that KARA was making a comeback for Lupin they hinted that the song production was about 80% complete already.

So, my thoughts are that Jumping was originally a comeback track in Korea.. but Hammie's incident happened and they switch off gears and muscle there way to Japan which gave time for Hammie to recover.

judging from the tracklists looks like there's 3 new songs "Binks" "With" & "Love Is" ..now i'm more convinced that Jumping was originally Korea's comeback track. >.<

1. BINKS

2. BURN

3. LOVE IS

4. WITH

5. JUMPIN

6. JUMPING (ins)

i think it will be called Jumping... songs with instrumentals are usually the main song.. so since Jumping is the only one with the inst, its a high chance the mini album will be called Jumping

I think this one looks a bit more correct, since it follows the pattern of Lupin and Pretty Girl mini album, and it's weird to have Jumping just before its instrumental track.

Can't wait for DSP to announce more info!
