I used a pair of scissors to cut away first... then used a slim tiny scissors to cut away the remaining ugly portion ... should be ok!! Good Luck!

Yep it is odd. I do not like cutting thing such as this.>.< Wish me luck I would be cutting a slot from the disc sleeve. Sigh.. this is nerve-wrecking. Do you just use a scissors? I thought of using a knife. But knife and book do not mix well.

Thanks I find it a bit drastic to cut it. You just snip one opening in the side?

Yes, it is actually sealed up. I cut it away together with the casing from the picture book itself and snip off the side opening.
