Impact to your life after become a Kamilia

Recommended Posts

Hello all just like the title of my thread.

Is there any impact to your life after become a Kamilia and loving KARA?

And my answer is "Yes, there is."

I become more girly (I'm used to tomboyish :blushing: )

And the biggest impact is from Nicole.

I want to have a fit body like her at STEP, so i started to do a strict diet and working up every day.

I lost 4 kilos but now gained again to 52

And i want a pretty smile like her, so i go to dentist and i applied dental braces.

Thanks to her my smile is better now lol

Now share your 'impact' here :D

Yes, I became more familiar with Kpop/number/chart  (don't know if this is a good thing or not :sweatdrop:) and spending a lot more free time with Kpop. Before discovering KARA in 2010, I don't even know what Kpop is  Also I can meet some new friends through KARA 's fansite in real life, that 's probably the biggest impact I guess

Yes, I found a new family called Kamilia. Kamilia also help me learns about trust. I've never trusted other people before, but Kamilia and KARA teach me how to trust people. Also I appreciated Korea more than before.

After being a Kamilia, my Life have gone a 360 degrees turn. Kara have a huge impact in my life. Especially Hammie. Her actions have taught me to have Perseverance even though when my life faces tons of Obstacles. Her humbleness have also influenced me. Although she knows pop-locking, she doesn't show it to the public. Ever since I have changed from Nicole to Hammie on 2010, I've fallen in love with her. Somehow, Falling in love with her makes me a better person. I've started to concentrate a lot on my studies. Eating healthy meals and etc. I really have no idea, it's totally unrelated, but somehow I manage to get it linked. Hopefully one day I'll get to meet Seungyeon in person, maybe have a small chat like how you and your friends do. I would really have to thank her in person, for helping me come this far here. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't be the TJX I am now. Thank you Kara, Thank you Seungyeon. I ♥ you. :)

After becoming a Kamilia... well through Kara, I got into Kpop in general, my friend tried to convince me to get into kpop through many other artists but no one really got through. And when I got into Kpop, it pretty much opened up to the whole genre, no one as much as Kara, but still. Yea, I guess the difference would be that I now have this section as part of my life too!

Yeah, me too. I used to not know what my preferences of an ideal girl was, but now I know better the qualities I look out for after becoming a fan. Nicole is the representation of ideal, and in the future I would probably want a girl with her kind of personality <3

After becoming a fan, I also learnt that I have the determination to achieve things that I really desire. I used to be a real lazy slacker through my teenage years procrastinating and being indecisive about life decisions. So in a sense, KARA made me learn of my passion and taught me how I can motivate myself using my passion for what I want. All these I learnt from being a fan - I am an introvert and didn't really liked socializing much, but my passion of being KARA fan helped me become a more sociable person as I got to know fellow fans during K5J. I discovered the extent I would go for what I like - even overcoming my natural weaknesses.

My preference of music of course leaned toward Kpop more and I also started learning Korean, both for future career expansion and interests sake. KARA is definitely the best group chosen for the K-Food ambassador given their Hallyu status. Learning dance also gradually became a passion as I grew to love their music.

Being a Kamilia made me learn a lot about myself and my own identity, KARA is a part of me. Suffice to say, I became more active a Kamilia while using the computer - I NEED to drop by these forums once daily at least to keep up with the news. I think I'm addicted.

a lot but not going to write everything down.

however what i would like to say is:

one of the wonderful experiences i have is to know and see a lot of people from all different cultures, races and nationalities. we make a point to come on-line to chat and share about kara. personally this (knowing you) is the best besides knowing kara. it changes the way i see in life..

Impact on my life? Major, would still be understating it.

After the completion of A's and the subsequent enlistment into National Service, I was at one of the lowest point in my life, you might even state it to be a 'quarter-life crisis'. Months of brooding and fruitless soul-searching followed soon after.

It was then I found KARA, with Step. At first I was quite adverse to K-pop, rather sticking to J-pop and J-rock despite the decline over the years, but Step was such an upbeat song, not to be overlooked. It opened a door to K-pop for me, through KARA.

Star-struck moments ensued, and well, I tracked KARA's journey all the way back to debut, when only a dozen fans turned up for their fansign. Look at where we are now, with us international fans grabbing any chance to meet our favourite girls!

Through a Jet Coaster (Rollercoaster-esque) experience, with all its ups and downs with KARA, from debut, breakthroughs, crisis, re-emergence better and stronger than ever, it has really been a wealth of emotions. Seeing their success and miraculous story, it really renewed my view on life, as I see KARA reaching out to Kamilias, contributing to disaster relief projects, and staying as one.

Meeting them on 10th July 2012, was momentous for me, seeing them in person, made me realize fully that celebrities are also humans like us, with emotions and limitations too, yet making a difference out there whatever they can. It really motivated me to pick myself up, be less lazy and contribute more to the community around me.

So in this sense, I would like to spread the joy that is KARA around and hope that they can too, be inspired in some way or another.

What Nicole says is true to a large extent, 'Effort does not betray you. If it ever did, it just means you didn't put enough effort in.'.

Impact? Yes, a lot. KARA came a time when I was not so sure of my friendships, and changed the time I was on the internet, watching useless things. It's great to see that 5 girls were able to make me love someone who does not know (yes, I have other favorite singers, but I especially love them). They helped me with STEP to say goodbye to the problems and that I can overcome them anyway. They told me that with Pretty Girl and I'm beautiful anyway. They teach me that I have to always be friendly, feminine, delicate, have to take care of myself (Nicole needs to exercise regularly). No matter how much time I spend here and looking at Karaholic posting more about them, this is what I really want. I'm looking for Korean course and I found a blog, in my language, which teaches perfectly. Motivated me to learn more about the Asian side, like Japan and China, and I'm also looking for these languages courses. They are always with me, they really made an impact with Mister clip that made me addicted to the song, haha. And besides, I'm glad to know that other people have had impacts with them, and changed a lot. Thanks for KARA exist and change my life completely.

Oh, and also made me fall in love with dance. I'm learning more dances and seeing other K-Pop bands like SNSD, Wonder Girls, 2NE1, Rainbow, and many others.

I think we can all agree that one of the most impactful things that we all share is the ludicrous amount of joy we all recieve from Kara and Kamilia as a whole. They brighten up our possibly dingy day and just want to make you say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious because nothing else can describe them completely.
